Chem help...is this right?
Determine the percent composition by mass of a 100 g K2SO4 solution containing 20-g solute. What is the mole percent composition of the solute, assume that solution consists of 100 g water and 20 g K2SO4?What i came up with:
(174.259g K2SO4/mol)(20gSolute/100gK2SO4)
=34.85%
i have no idea if i am doing this right, but this is the only way i could think to do it, could someone please tell me if im right or wrong, and if im wrong can you point me in the right direction
