angle1=4angle2-5------------(1).
angle1+angle2 =180---------(2).,as by data the 2 angles are a linear pair.
(1)-(2) eliminates angle1 giving,
-angle2 = 4angle2-5-180==>
-angle2-4angle2=-185==>
5angle2 =185==>
angle2 =185/5 =37 deg. Therefore, angle 1=180-37 = 143 deg.
