These sites are just the first page of a search on learning russian free. I'm sure there are many others you can use and some if not most will give you the words you need. You can also check out Paltalk.com and other sites that are free and let tutors instruct students in languages. You might also try yahoo groups or other places to see if you can find other resources. You've probably got access to a textbook and or a book in the library that can help too.
