Where is Naples?

I've heard it's somewhere either near Fresno or Rome, but I'm not sure.

Naples is in southern Italy.  Capital of Campania Region and province of Naples.  It is located halfway between 2 volcanic areas, Mount Vesuvius and the Phlegraean Fields, on the coast of the Gulf of Naples.

southeast of rome, approximately halfway between rome and the bottom of 'the boot'. there is also italy lake near fresno, ca.
